What are the key facts about Sankra?
Who runs Sankra and what licence does it hold?
Sankra does not say. Its footer shows only an 18+ icon and “2026 © Sankra.com”, with no company name, registration number or licence seal. The General Terms and Conditions refer only to “the Company” and say disputes are settled under “the applicable Law” without naming a country.
Third-party reviews give conflicting answers. Some name a Costa Rican company, 3-102-945295 SRL, with a Tobique Gaming Commission licence, and one reports that this licence has expired. Others name Liernin Enterprises Ltd, and one says there is no gambling licence at all. Sankra’s own pages confirm none of these, so you would have no named company or regulator to complain to. Our guide on whether you can sue a casino for not paying out explains why that matters.
Is Sankra blocked in Australia?
No. Sankra is not on ACMA’s list of blocked illegal gambling websites. Its terms list 27 excluded countries, including the UK, the USA, Sweden and Malta, but not Australia, and the site has an Australian version with dollar amounts.
The Interactive Gambling Act 2001 bans operators from offering online casino games to people in Australia. Playing is not an offence for you as a player, but every online casino that accepts Australians, including Sankra, is an offshore site operating outside Australian law. ACMA has blocked more than 1,800 illegal gambling websites. Our guide on whether online gambling is legal in Australia explains the rules.
How fast does Sankra pay out?
Sankra’s terms say the finance team works through withdrawal requests within three business days, and only between 6 am and 5 pm GMT, Monday to Friday. Sankra does not publish transfer times per method.
Sankra usually verifies documents within 10 days, so upload ID, proof of address and proof of payment before your first payout, as our guide on how to make a casino withdrawal explains.
How much can you withdraw from Sankra?
Sankra’s terms set daily and monthly AUD limits by VIP level, based on your activity over the previous 90 days:
At Level 1, a A$20,000 win would take at least two months to withdraw. If speed matters to you, compare our list of fast payout casinos in Australia.
What withdrawal rules should you know before you deposit?
Several rules in Sankra’s terms can cost you money:
- Deposit wagering: you must bet your deposit at least once before withdrawing. If you do not, Sankra can cancel your winnings and keep a 10% fee, or 15% if you deposited by card or bank transfer.
- Account closure: closing an account with a positive balance or a pending withdrawal voids all the funds in it.
- Inactivity fee: after 180 days without logging in, Sankra may charge €5 a month until the balance reaches zero.
- Documents: if you do not send requested documents within 30 days, the account can be closed and the balance forfeited.
- Betting patterns: martingale systems, low-risk betting and “systematic stake increases” are listed as abuse that can void winnings.
We found no VPN clause and no minimum monthly wagering rule. If anything goes wrong, our guide to online casino withdrawal problems explains your options.
Which payment methods can Australians use at Sankra?
Sankra supports Australian dollars but does not offer PayID. Its payments page showed no methods for Australia when we loaded it, so check the cashier before you deposit.
The minimum deposit for the welcome bonus is A$30. Sankra says it may pay out through a different method than the one you choose. If PayID matters to you, see our list of PayID casinos.
What is the Sankra welcome bonus really worth?
Sankra’s Australian welcome pack is 350% up to A$15,000 plus 500 free spins, spread over four deposits: 100% up to A$3,000 plus 150 spins, 75% up to A$3,750 plus 50 spins, 75% up to A$3,750 plus 100 spins and 100% up to A$4,500 plus 200 spins.
Only pokies count fully. Live casino counts 10%, table games 0%, and jackpot and crash games cannot be played with bonus funds.
With a A$100 deposit and a 100% match, your A$200 balance must be wagered 30 times, which means A$6,000 in bets within 10 days. On pokies with 96% RTP, the expected loss is about A$240, which is more than the whole balance. Cashouts are also capped at 3x the bonus. Treat it as extra playing time, not money you are likely to withdraw.
What games does Sankra offer?
Sankra says it has over 4,000 casino games, and third-party reviews report studios such as Pragmatic Play, Evolution, Play’n GO and Hacksaw Gaming. NetEnt games are not available to Australians under Sankra’s terms. The library covers:
- Pokies: video pokies, Megaways, bonus-buy games and jackpots.
- Live casino: blackjack, roulette, baccarat and game shows.
- Sportsbook: pre-match and live betting, including Australian racing.
One third-party review measured an average RTP of 93.57% across the pokies it checked. Check the RTP in each game’s info screen, and see our guide to the highest payout pokies.
What responsible gambling tools does Sankra have?
Very few. Sankra’s responsible gaming page offers self-exclusion only by emailing support@sankra.com, after which the account is closed within 24 hours. It mentions no deposit, loss or session limits, and it lists GamCare, Gamblers Anonymous and Gambling Therapy but no Australian services.
BetStop does not cover offshore casinos like Sankra, so if you need a break, withdraw your balance first, then email support to self-exclude and install blocking software. Our guide on how to stop gambling lists the tools that work at offshore sites.
How do you sign up and withdraw safely at Sankra?
- Accept the operator risk: Sankra names no company or regulator, so only deposit what you can afford to lose.
- Register with your real details: your name and address must match your documents.
- Verify straight away: upload ID, proof of address and proof of payment before you play.
- Start small: make a minimum deposit, bet it at least once and skip the bonus until you know how payouts work.
- Make a test withdrawal: confirm the casino pays before you deposit more.
